Overview

IBM QRadar is a SIEM (security information and event management) software for businesses. It gathers log data from an organization’s network devices, host assets and operating systems, applications, vulnerabilities, and user activities and behavior, among other things. The log data and network flows are then analyzed in real time by IBM QRadar to identify malicious activity and swiftly stop it, averting or reducing damage to the enterprise.

The Challenge

The Cyber security market is difficult to tap into as there is a lot of competition. It becomes difficult to create a whole new audience base and connect with them to generate leads. Apart from that most people are not even aware of the cyber threats and risks which are harmful to their businesses and their systems. Given that they are not educated about the risks in the first place, they don’t feel there is a need to eliminate these risks. In addition to it, a lot of small businesses can not afford to invest in cyber security at least at an early stage of their development.

The Solution

We were making it easier for IBM to collect qualified leads, which helped them boost their conversion rate, while IBM was growing and coming up with new patents and delivering the best in market products and services. For their IBM Security QRadar XDR, we started with Appointment Generation and BANT campaigns via phone and email.
IBM sought to engage with its target market and learn about their issues and feedback. We aimed to grasp the perspective of potential customers using BANT campaigns so IBM could work on meeting their demands. We nurtured prospects via Appointment Generation until they were ready to meet with IBM’s sales team.

The Approach

BANT: We began by sending emails and making phone calls to relevant and potential consumers to educate them about cyber security, risks and threats. To advertise what IBM had to offer, we first instilled a sense of interest in them. The potential prospects were then given a series of questions to determine how far along in the buyer’s journey they are. Budget, authority, necessity, and time were the four categories of questions. This allowed us to communicate with the target audience, identify their problems, and provide assistance.
Appointment Generation: In order to operate a successful Appointment Generation campaign, we started by identifying and developing relevant and important relationships with potential buyers. Our aim was to move these prospects further down the sales funnel until they were ready to buy or at the very least schedule a meeting with them to discuss IBM Security Qradar XDR in further detail.
